General Hospital spoilers reveal Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) may not be ready to admit that she wasn’t completely disappointed to see her ex-husband, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), roll into town.
It didn’t take him long or too much flattery before she was bribed into an outing with him over ice cream. That clearly turned into coffee and a late-night stroll, during which they witnessed Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) toss a gun off a bridge. But that wasn’t the highlight of their entanglement together.
Elizabeth is vulnerable right now and fans have every reason to worry that she may fall prey to Ric’s charms and end up back in bed with him — or worse. But we also know he’s going to have some stiff competition soon when Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) returns to town. How will that change her interactions with Ric, especially if Lucky readily embraces her and declares bygones?
General Hospital Spoilers — Liz Webber Feeling Lucky?
When Lucky left town almost a decade ago, he and Elizabeth weren’t exactly on the best of terms. She blames herself for driving him away.
When he comes home, it sounds like they have a lot of ground to cover to get back on solid ground, but it’s not impossible that Lucky will seize his second chance at life and forgive everything.
This could catapult Elizabeth and Lucky into a new level of friendship — or more — in their relationship, and her other ex she’s been spending time with just might not approve.
GH Spoilers – Claim Ric Lansing Doesn’t Like To Lose
Ric has never been very tolerant of coming in second. Chalk it up to him feeling like his mother’s second-choice when it came down to choosing who to be a mom to — him, or Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Right now, he’s managed to garner just an inkling of Elizabeth’s attention.
It’s possible the modicum of energy she’s putting into him has given him hope that she might indulge in his company while he’s in town, or even that it might turn into something more serious.
