ABC’s General Hospital has a long history of core families who reside in Port Charles. There are the Cassadine, Spencer, Ashford, Quartermaine, Corinthos, and various others who have made a name for themselves around the waterside city.
Families like the Quartermaine’s have been around since General Hospital’s television debut in 1964, while others are part of a more modern generation. The Corinthos family established roots in PC on the early 1990s, and have been one of the most powerful to ever passed through and stayed.
General Hospital news reports confirm that two families are shaken when Port Charles says goodbye to another prominent family member. Michael Corinthos is not only the adopted son of the most powerful mobster this side of Pier 54, he’s also the biological son to the infamous AJ Quartermaine (Sean Kanan). Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) raises Michael with his other Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), and the power parents have created a wonderful family together despite the Quartermaine complication.
According to General Hospital rumors, the Corinthos and Quartermaine families won’t be the same after Michael Corinthos is gone. Recently, Michael caught his wife Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and his own uncle Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in a comprising position. In fact, Drew and Willow were seen in the act as Willow broke her marriage vows and slept with Drew.
